I wanted grey walls. I just thought they would be nice and crisp with the white crown molding and baseboards. I knew I also wanted black and white to go with it. Then at the Atlanta Gift Mart, I saw some napkins that were black and white with lime green! I LOVE lime green! I knew that I could make the space fun with lime green!
I started with cornice boards. Since it's a playroom I didn't want curtains. I wanted something simple.
There you have it. Simple cornice boards with a touch of whimsy. Refreshing, isn't it?!
I love the black and white cornice board! Can you tell me where you found the fabric, it's perfect for my daughters room! Thanks for any suggestions!

ReplyDeleteSO sorry, I just now saw this comment?! I found it at a store in Raleigh, NC called Mill Outlet Village. It is an amazing fabric store with some great prices (some not so much!). This was one of the great priced ones. I believe it is Waverly. I also firmly believe it was black. Some might argue that. I bet if you called and/or showed it to someone at a fabric store they might know it...especially at a true fabric store (not a craft store). Good luck and let me know if you find it!!
